Set list at Tom Brown's originals open mic

A new venue -- the monthly songwriting circle is apparently becoming a fortnightly one, alternating between Weymouth and Dorchester. I don't normally venture up north.

I played I Never in the circle; it was ok, but I don't feel like it's a classic. At the open mic, I went for the tried-and-true:

• Morna
• Hope
• Heidi

People said nice things about all three songs separately; I heard some nice I-like-this-one "oo"s at the start of Heidi, some nervous laughter at the "traumatising children" line, and I caught Ross whistling the refrain afterwards. I felt like I didn't quite nail Morna, the fingerpicking needs work; Hope is a banger, I like it a lot.
